Allergies

Its that time of year again, SPRING! I love spring ,because of all sorts of life growing in the earth and nature putting color back into the forrests. However, I hate my bodies sensitivity to Mother Nature's duty. I feel like my whole head is in a tunnel. When I talk I hear an echo of my words coming out of my mouth and my throat is itchy and sore. I sound hoarse from all this pollen. Claritin is the only thing that seems to help when this time of year comes around. I figured that after my surgery I wouldn't have this problem any longer, boy was I wrong..... Oh well I can't wait to get in the pool and go for a swim!!!!

"Just Breathe"

Listening to Faith on the radio while calm and relaxed in my bubble suds reflecting of last weeks night mare. This past week was the worst I had in a very long time! 3 major tests (stats, fin, and blaw)+ essays + working with the crazies (NOT JOKING)- sleep ( avg. 4-5 1/2 per day)  = insane zoombie Jacqueline. I think I messed up more things last week than in my entire life. I just couldn't do anything right it was like I was in a whirlwind going 0-300 mph! However, I can regroup my goals and objectives, because the eye of the hurricane is coming quick. Mid terms are just around the corner and theres is tons to do at work. But for now I can take that much needed breath and a full eight plus hour nights rest and call it a day. I hope everyone had a wonderfull weekend! Come on tylenol pm!!!!!!!!

I LOVE MATH

Winner winner chicken dinner is what they say at the casino, but what about the lottery? Well, this week I decided to play, because I was interested in trying to beat the 3 pick lotto. Why? Well, it has alot to do with ISDS @ LSUS. This class is so freaking awesome. It's actually pretty cool, because I am a chance taker at heart at making money. Its a class about proablity and Ms. White rocks at teaching it!!! It has much to do with making educated guesses and looking at data. Let me get back to the cliff notes though. Anyways, I decided to look up online at the past numbers that were pulled and with that I got 295. Well, I decided to play it 258,239,257 and ect. I played about $20 bucks. Well, I won $250!!! Granted it doesnt always work, but hey 1:611 isn't to bad hun??? I love winning and applying what I have learned! I guess I love math now! Thats all folks for now!

Louis XIV

With the blood of Jean LafitteI live in one the best states in the whole U.S. during the month of February! It's the most amazing month out of the year for a resident in Louisiana, because its home to many crazy Cajuns and Louisianans. I don't know of any where else I could possibly be. I love the southern heritage and easy going people. Everyone knows everybody and they call you by your first name here. I love to know that I come from a strong southern family and community with respect and pride in our state and country, but most of all our Cajun Culture.

The Cajun Culture couldn't exist without the people that play a major roll in performing Zydeco and Blues music, cooking Creole food, starting block party crawfish boils, tailgate parties cheering for the best teams:Tigers and Saints, fasting for Fat Tuesday, catching beads by saking what your mama gave you at Mardi Gras Parades, dancing the night away at the decadent Balls with your one and only and much more…….
With the pirates blood of dear Jean Lafitte running through my veins I am influenced to say,"There is nothing to compare to Louisiana". I just have to say I am proud to be a Louisianan and hope to pass some legacy down to the future generations. I think that it is important to know and understand the value of our culture, because it’s priceless.

Strength

Sometimes I think to myself  why oh why did I ever decide to allow this chic to cut and dye my HAIR! I usually go to this lady at a salon off Mansfield Rd. and she always does an excellent job. However, I called and scheduled an appointment about a week ago, to have my hair done for today, and was woke up at 6 am this morning by a salon representative saying that she cancelled my appoitment. However, she made arrangements for another lady to color and cut my hair. So, I said thats fine I'll be there by one. I arrive excited about my appointment and things go all down hill from that moment of me walking trough that door! I explained to the young lady that I wanted my hair to look like the chics in the magazine and color. Well, after about three hours of waiting and breathing bleach vapors. I turn and look in the mirrow and my face said it all! She cut three inches off and my hair is now deep aurburn, not at all like the highlighted aurburn-blonde in the magazine! All I could say is it looks nothing like the magzines or what I wanted. She replies,"It's pretty though." At that moment all I could do is pray to God to give me the strength from throwing a B****H Fit. I said," I will be back in here next week to have ----- do my hair and I will pay then!"
